Meet:  Either 7:30 AM at the Issaquah Park and Ride (SR 900 & Newport Way) OR: 8:15 AM at the McDonalds in Enumclaw. We will form carpools at these points and see who all owns a National Park Passes.
Distance:  7.5 miles round-trip, blue-rated hike with one moderately-steep switchback section.
Elevation Gain: 1600 feet;
High point: 6400 feet
This popular hike in the northwest corner of Mt. Rainier Natl. Park. has many open meadows of heather and wildflowers amongst interesting rock formations. The trail also includes forests and views of Mt. Rainier when the weather is clear, and the misty 160-ft. Spray Falls. Add a lake too, because we start from the Mowich Lake trailhead. Short enough to hike at a leisurely pace or, for those so inclined, to extend the hike up the ridge toward Seattle Park for more views. Bring a lunch, sunscreen, water, good hiking footwear and bug spray.  Possible post-hike stop for eats and/or libations somewhere in Wilkerson, Carbonado or Enumclaw if the group desires and time permits.

Heavy rain cancels. Call trip leader if in doubt.
Please RSVP on club express.
Group size limit: 12
