The Steamboat Springs 2022 Ski Trip, February 27th - March 5th, is a great time of year to ski in Colorado. Not only is it a fun ski mountain known for its "Champagne Powder" but it also offers snowshoe trails and 3 nearby XC areas, View highlighted Link > XC Skiing
The resort sits at a lower altitude for CO resorts with a base elevation of 6,900' which is more altitude friendly. View Resort Link > Steamboat Springs Resort

Base trip cost is $1,380 which includes:
- Roundtrip air Alaska Airlines and United Airlines * (See Note below)
- Group ground shuttles/bus transportation and gratuities
- 6-nights lodging at Homewood Suites in shared 2 person “STUDIO” Suite rooms
- Daily breakfast
- 1 group dinner including taxes and gratuity.
- LIFT TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE BUT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN BASE TRIP PRICE.
The Details: Original trip options included round trip air on Alaska Airlines #2516, leaving SEA at 2:20 pm flying into HDN at 5:32 pm, with group shuttles to the hotel.
* Note - We are adding additional air on United Airlines due to luggage restrictions for our size of group on a smaller plane with Alaska airlines. The United group would leave Seattle Sunday am, flying from SEA > DEN > HDN.
A group charter bus will take us to DEN for the return flight home on Saturday.
Stay for 6-nights at Homewood Suites Steamboat Springs by Hilton. This property was selected as it provides more standardization and equality with the bedding yet has some of the comforts of a Condo. Most rooms are Queen/Queen or King STUDIO Suites with a sitting area and kitchens that have everything except an oven. A limited number of Queen/Queen or King 1-BEDROOM Suites will also be available at an additional cost. Single supplement pricing is available for both room types (see below). A FREE daily breakfast is provided along with Hilton’s comped Happy Hour drinks & snacks available Wed – Friday. View Lodging Link > Homewood Suites
This trip avoids the weekend skiers and restaurant crowds. Enjoy up to 5 days of mid-week skiing, XC or snowshoeing, etc. Steamboat is on the IKON pass. 1-5 days of lift tickets are available for those without a pass (costs $123 - $480). Our lift pricing is better than any senior pricing or IKON day passes!
A group dinner at a local restaurant is included.
Optional: Visit to Strawberry Hot Springs.
The town has a free bus system, the SST, which we can use to travel to/from the mountain, grocery/liquor stores and to a variety of area restaurants. Our bus stop is just across the street from the hotel. I’m told the busses run all day and until the restaurants/bars close at night.
YOU MUST SELECT ONE OF THE 4 GROUND PKG/LODGING OPTIONS TO BE ON THE TRIP!
* GROUND PKG/LODGING IN STUDIO SUITE QUEEN/QUEEN
* GROUND PKG/LODGING IN STUDIO SUITE KING
* GROUND PKG/LODGING IN 1-BEDROOM SUITE QUEEN/QUEEN
* GROUND PKG/LODGING IN 1-BEDROOM SUITE KING
Any upgrades you choose are in addition to the base lodging package.
Cost Difference for to a “1-BEDROOM” Suite is an additional $87 (select “1-Bedroom Suite” room vs. a "Studio" Suite when registering).
Private Room/Single supplement for STUDIO Suite is an additional $653
Private Room/Single supplement for 1-BEDROOM Suite is an additional $738
NOTE - Remember to select A GROUND PKG/LODGING OPTION which says you want a hotel room, group ground transportation to/from the airports & group dinner.
The single supplement is the 2nd half of the room, so you end up with the whole thing.
We will do our best to meet your room requests, but it will depend on availability.
