What is this?
Walk with Kary in Juanita. Park for free at Juanita Beach Park or across the street from the Park. We will meet at the volley ball courts in Juanita Beach Park and will begin our walk across the dock along Lake WA. We will go through the old golf course and bird sanctuary, then loop around to return to the park. The walk is on sidewalks and is pretty flat.
Depending on the fitness level of the group, we will walk for 60 to 90 minutes.
Depending on the size of our group, if we are less than 12, we will walk up Juanita Drive to my condo on Lake WA and have some wine on the back deck. If our group is over 12, we will move the gang down to Brick's Wine Bar in the Juanita Village, a block from the Park.
Heavy rain will cancel the event.
Walking shoes are recommended for this event.
