The Passing of Tom Jacobson
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of S’no Joke’s longtime member Tom Jacobson. Tom passed unexpectedly on December 13th after a courageous battle with melanoma.
Tom was an avid hiker, biker, skier, and sailor. He had a special talent for skiing and made downhill S‑curves look effortless and graceful. Tom had a quick wit and a generous spirit. He was never one to turn down a cold beer after an activity and was often the first to offer to buy a round.
So much more could be said about a man who brought such laughter and lighthearted moments to life. May your memories of him add to what words cannot express. He is, and will be, deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tom was known as a quiet man with a big heart and a terrific friend—someone who preferred to stay in the background but was always there to lend a hand when needed. For those who knew him, these qualities were a constant presence; for those who never had the chance to meet him, they speak to the kind of person he was within our community.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his longtime companion, Annette, and with all who are grieving his loss.
