Hi Biking Gang:
Join me for a co-lead 40 mile ride this Sat June 15th.
We will be joining up with the JDRF bike group. They have a professionally trained leader, much in the same vein as if you were going on a Cascade ride. In fact, many of their coaches are/were Cascade ride leaders as well. I have been riding with this group for 3 years now, and Coach Adam is one of my favorite coaches! They help you with mechanicals/flats and you never get dropped!
When the ride is over, we can go to a nearby lunch hangout for those that are interested.
You will sign the Snojoke waiver as you would for any event. I've already spoken to Adam, the Coach, and he said "bring it on; the more the merrier". He also said he will provide some pace line training for those who are interested when we are in the valley.
June 15th Bothell Ride Details:
When: Saturday, June 15, 2019- meet at 7:45 am, bike ride at 8 am (don't be late); plenty of free street parking
Where: Meet at Cafe Lardo in Bothell
Route: We'll go from Bothell to Snohomish - with a stop at the bakery in Snohomish. This ride does have a fair bit of climbing, and is on roads (no trail), but good shoulder for most parts, and used regularly by cyclists.
