YAKIMA RIVER FLOAT on Saturday with camping Friday-Sunday
When: Rafting on Saturday 26 August 2023
Note: We are not camping at Bighorn this year due to lack of facilities!
Where: Camping at Yakima River RV Park. Rafting from Ringer Loop Rd boat launch and take out at Roza boat launch. Note: There are two exits to Ringer Loop Rd heading south on Canyon Rd. The first exit takes you to the RV Park. The 2nd exit takes you to the boat launch.
Saturday Meeting Place and Times:

Meet at 10:00am at 2nd exit to Ringer Loop Rd and boat launch. This is where you will meet up with Don, your trip leader, if you are not camping.

Be sure to bring sunscreen, water toys, and BYOB.
•
If camping bring something to share for Saturday night’s group dinner.
•
Note: No pets please!
This is very a gentle river float on a Class 0 river (aka a beer float). Bring your own floating device such as an inflatable kayak, boat, inner tube, multi-person floating island, etc. Alternatively, you may rent one from our put-in spot at Bighorn.

Optional: Drive over Friday and camp out at Yakima River RV Park. Don plans on camping Friday and Saturday nights and returning to Seattle on Sunday. Campsites can be reserved by clicking the link below and filling out the reservation tab. Be sure to mention Snojoke as the group.

Note: The Snojoke general liability insurance does not cover river rafting. All participants that register for this event are considered to be registering for camping only and not river rafting. Those choosing to float the river will be doing so at their own risk! .
